Spontaneous Trip

I am NOT one to be spontaneous and do random things because I always need to know what is happening when and where but on Friday I decided to randomly go up to ABQ again and see a friend from this summer working. It was so encouraging and fun to see her again and catch up in person and see how God had been providing since the summer!

I went with her and her friends to the Saturday morning session of the Balloon Fiesta (again) and got some FUN shots! We woke up at 3:30am to leave at 4:00am to catch the 4:30 bus to the fiesta. While it was extremely exhausting, it was WELL worth it. Hot chocolate and breakfast burritos kept me awake as we waited in the darkness for the balloons to take flight. For the 16 years I have lived in Albuquerque, I had never been to the Balloon Fiesta that early so it was absolutely incredible to catch the laser light show, the sunrise AND the balloons glowing all before 7am.
