Ezra and Sarah
There have been moments recently in my photo business and just in my life where I have questioned what I am passionate about. I used to say photography but now that is changing. I love photography and how I have been able to serve others through it but I just don’t see it being a passion of mine as much anymore. That probably sounds a little bit disheartening and I don’t mean for it to be. I take it as encouraging because I can keep doing photography but find ways to push myself creatively to keep serving clients.
Through that, I haven’t had a lot of clients and it was discouraging for me BUT I was still pushing myself towards the end of 2018. I had a lot of ideas I wanted to see come to fruition but no models. I asked my friends Sarah and Ezra to model and be kind of like car crash dummies while I asked them to do some pretty crazy prompts just so I could get a cool photo.
In December 2018, we drove to the Petroglyph National Monument as the sun almost went away from us. It was freezing cold and Sarah was wearing one of my dresses with a giant slit down the left leg but they loved on each other and it was awesome.
Thankful for friends that are willing to be weird in front of the camera so I can take one picture that makes it all worth it!
