Joel and Kelsey

Engagement pictures are so much fun. I am sure for engaged couples, it is the first step of wedding planning because you have to have the pictures, in order to send invitations. Engagements hold a special place in my heart. Whether or not I am shooting the couple’s wedding, I feel so honored to be part of this short transition time in their relationship and capture them in that time. I can capture their love and how they look forward to living life together. They are able to look back on their dating relationship with so much gratitude, knowing that it brought them to this moment.

I love Joel and Kelsey so much! Joel is a good friend from high school and I remember when he first wanted to start dating Kelsey. Joel and I are similar in the sense that we have a lot of trouble letting people in all the way, especially at first. We have issues with trusting people. He talked to me and a couple of our friends about his concerns with wanting to date her. We encouraged him into it and pursue something new and scary. Well it sure paid off because these cuties are freaking engaged and are going to be freaking married and living life together! I love them together. They compliment each other so well and Kelsey is such a blessing for Joel. Can NOT wait to see these two KILL the married life later this year!
